Current Developments

On a freehold site which we have acquired in an historic Midlands market town, we have engaged local architects with deep knowledge of the local borough planning policy and a thorough appreciation of the historic context of our site. We are in the process of appraising the alternative options for developing the upper parts into ten or more apartments, while maintaining a good covenant commercial tenant in occupation of the ground floor.

Property development is often perceived to degrade the landscape and existing urban setting. We are confident that on this project in pursuing our commercial aim of improving the scale and condition of the building we will also deliver a significant aesthetic enhancement of the streetscape. In a street of medieval origin, with many Georgian and Queen Anne buildings extant, our architect is designing a much more sympathetic frontage for our 1960s building, to make it worthier of the historic setting.
